There was a very good reason the blog was so quiet for the last few days. I was in DC with Emily and
the girls chilling with family. By chilling, I mean eating amazing food (thanks Kristen!), seeing my new
little nephew Evan and playing golf, ping pong, darts, rook and this new version of cranium called
cranium pop that I was quite bad at. Did I miss anything? I also shot two fabulous engagement
sessions. More on those later!
While I was waiting for my first engagement session, I decided to take a quick image of the Jefferson.
Little did I know, Ilene and Steve were sitting down on the steps... Can you find them? Can you tell I
used to love "Where's Waldo"?
I wanted to post some more fly albums from the collection. A few days ago, I posted two coffee table
books so it's time to give the gallery books some well deserved attention. I adore these books. Where
the coffee table books are modern, contemporary and fresh, the gallery books are timeless and ooze
swanky class. Genuine leather, library bound, premium finished prints in museum quality mats.
Here is a fine art parent book. Even though I call it that, I have clients get these books for themselves.
One image on the cover and 25 or so of your favorite images printed to 5x7 and mounted one per page.
I met Kristi and Doug at Cherokee Park last night to shoot their engagement session. I had heard
rumors that Doug might be bringing his guitar to the session. Doug blew me away! He has a wispy
Brian Adams type quality to his voice. Can you say American Idol? :-) Anyway, I had a great time
with Doug and Kristi and can't wait for their wedding in June.
Doug started out the session singing Mark Cohn's "True Companion". (Great song by the way!)
Kristi shows Doug how to lift someone up in the air. She even managed to kick a leg up!
