This weekend, I had the honor of driving up to Milford, Ohio to shoot my buddy Jacob's wedding. Jacob and I have been friends since freshman year of college and I absolutely treasure his friendship. He was a groomsman in my wedding and I was honored when he asked me to shoot his wedding. I really haven't met anybody like Jacob. He is the definition of friend. He's loyal, selfless and a heck of a racquetball intramural teammate! (He and another one of the groomsmen also helped me set everything up the night I proposed to Emily on the fire escape of the library at college... and for that I am forever indebted!) It was no surprise to me that he found someone as beautiful and loving as Becky to marry. Here are some images from their wedding!
Becky adds some color to the cake.
The girls had a bunch of laughs while they got ready.
This is the first time I've witnessed a groom steam a tie while he's wearing it!
Getting a little steamy.
Jos grimaces behind his Macbook Pro while working on a slideshow for the reception.
As we walked outside for some shots of the guys, I couldn't help but notice a ladder leaning against the side of the church. It was practically begging to be used!
Here she comes!
Walking the aisle.
Exit.
I like the feeling in this image.
A kiss.
Jacob and Becky smiled as the Adam, the best man, roasted Jacob.
And Becky's maid of honor gave some of the most encouraging bits of wisdom in her speech.
I love belly laughs.
