Merry Christmas!  Emily and I wanted to spread some holiday love to all of y'all.  We have been so blessed this year by connecting with so many of you.  We are taking some time off to celebrate the holidays with our friends and family.  We will be officially back on January 5th.  I will be periodically checking my email and business phone, so feel free to write and call!  (What's a vacation without checking the email a time or two, right?)

Two things to watch for:

1) Images from Sarah's wedding.  (Which is taking place on the 29th!)

2) Some great press in Louisville Bride.  I haven't even seen it yet, but I hear they've got a great article on Vanessa and Will's wedding.

Weddings. Are. So. Much. Fun.  Seriously, I love my job.  Brittany and Craig's wedding was an absolute joy to be a part of.  They wrote and memorized their own vows. (which Emily and I did at our wedding... it still is one of my favorite memories of all time)  They also had a killer party, aided by Marshall Yancey, the most super-fly deejay in Louisville.

At the end of November, I met Lauren and Patrick at their alma mater, Indiana University, for their engagement session.  They currently live in Chicago and are getting married in Louisville on June 28, 2008.  We had a great time walking across IU's campus looking for backdrops for their session.  What a great campus!  It was my first time back to campus since Matt and Kirma's wedding at Beck Chapel in 2006.  No we didn't see Eric Gordon, but if we did, I would have definitely challenged him to a little one on one.

Some of you more loyal blog readers (you know who you are!) may notice a few new images in the banner at the top of the blog.  I'm up crazy late after a game of Halo 3 with some buddies and couldn't sleep.  So what better way to spend my sleepless night than sprucing up the blog, right?  While I was looking for some fun new images, I found an image that makes me laugh every time I look at it.  I thought I'd share it with you.  This beautiful girl was a guest at Lauren and Bruce's wedding in July.  I hope it brings a smile to your face as it does mine!

Rebecca and Bryan are getting married in Louisville this upcoming February.  We headed downtown for the shoot last week along with Diamond, their awesomely energetic weimaraner.   I love it when couples bring dogs to engagement sessions.  So much fun!
