louisville wedding, lauren & kyle
Warning. I'm about to post a ton of images from a wedding. I'm sorry, but that's what you get when you have as much fun on your wedding day as Lauren and Kyle. (And when your wedding looks this amazing!) Lauren and Kyle were SO much fun (laid back, hilarious, dancing machines!) and their wedding was one I won't forget. Lauren is a bit of an event planner herself so she knew exactly what she wanted and how to get it. I've got to give some props to some of my favorite vendors because they did such an amazing job with this wedding. First and foremost, Beth Penner Torstrick and her entourage (Tammy, Carol, Lauren and Joanie) did an amazing job working with Lauren to get all the details perfect. Wayne Esterle of In Bloom Again continues to blow my mind with what he can do with flowers (and rocks and moss and everything else.)
The yellow leaves outside the salon were gorgeous.
Lauren is handed a mimosa while getting her hair done.
Lauren showed her great sense of humor as a bobby pin entered her skull.
I love this moment as Lauren got a hug from mom as she got ready.
Lauren was so excited to see Kyle.
Holding hands during the ceremony.
Kyle was all smiles during the vows.
I caught this photographer chimping during the ceremony. Photographers call it "chimping" because when we look at the backs of our cameras, it's typically accompanied with monkey noises (ooh, ooh, ahh, ahh).
Loved the expressions from Lauren and her matron of honor, Holly.
With one small gesture, Kyle lets his buddies know it's all good.
Lauren came up with this rhyme for their beer koozies.
I really like this shot of Kyle and Lauren at Hurstbourne Country Club.
This wedding was DETAILICIOUS!
I also really liked how they put the place cards on a table filled with rocks and moss.
The wedding party entertained the guests as they entered the tent.
A shot of the dining tent during dinner.
Lauren scored major points by getting the party started and staying on the dance floor all night.
Here's a shot of the party tent during a polka. The band was City Lights Orchestra out of Nashville. They were really solid.
My ears are still ringing from this shot.
You can quickly see why Lauren is so much fun when you get to know her family. In this shot, her uncle is waving his hands at me yelling, "No photos please!"
Everybody was kung-fu fighting. Ha!
Lauren and Kyle showed their Cincinnati love by bringing out silver trays filled with White Castle burgers. Nice touch!
Another highlight of the night was watching everybody melodramatically sing, "Total Eclipse of the Heart".
An image of the tents at night.
What a night!
